Chocolate chip snack cake is a delightful treat that has become my family's favorite for many years. It's a moist and fluffy cake, studded with delicious chocolate chips that melt in your mouth with every bite. The combination of sweet vanilla and rich chocolate creates a comforting flavor that's perfect for satisfying dessert cravings or as a simple snack throughout the day. Everyone enjoys a slice!
Chocolate Chip Snack Cake

Recipe:
1/4 pound unsalted butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon water
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
6 ounces chocolate chips
In a small bowl, mix together butter or margarine, 1 cup sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Add sour cream, vanilla, water, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well. Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured 9 by 13 inch pan or two 8-inch round pans and spread evenly. Sprinkle on half of the topping mixture. Add the rest of the batter and cover with the remaining topping. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Serves 12 to 15.
