This cake is absolutely delicious and has been enjoyed by everyone who has tried it! You won't be disappointed! This recipe was passed down from my great-grandmother, and it features a hint of lemon. It is incredibly moist and has a delightful, crispy sugary crust.

Sour Cream Pound Cake

Recipe:

1 cup of butter

1/4 tsp baking soda

3 tsp vanilla

6 whole eggs

3 cups sugar

2 tsp lemon extract

1 cup sour cream

3 cups flour

Cream butter, then add sugar. Add and beatin soda and lemon extract and vanilla and sour cream.... beat in eggs blend in flour 1 cup at a time, beat well.

Butter and flour tube pan. Bake 325 degrees 1 hr, 40 minutes.

If desired, sprinkle powder sugar on top after cake has cooled.
