This old York cookie recipe from my grandmother is a classic treat that combines simple ingredients to create a delightful cookie. Yummy cookie squares that are tender, flavorful, and perfect for enjoying with a cup of tea or coffee. The simplicity of the ingredients makes it a wonderful recipe to cherish and pass down, just like my grandmother did.
