Strawberry Pretzel Salad
When combined, these ingredients create a delicious layered dessert with a crunchy pretzel base, a creamy strawberry filling, and a delightful sweetness that will be a hit at any gathering!

Recipe:
2 cups pretzel sticks
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
2 cups sugar, separated
6-oz. package strawberry Jello
1 (10-oz.) package or 2 (6-oz.) package frozen strawberries
8 oz. Cool Whip
8 oz. cream cheese
Coarsely crush pretzels and spread into 2-quart oiled baking dish. In a saucepan, melt margarine and 1 cup sugar. Drizzle over pretzels and bake for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. In a bowl, mix Jello and 2 cups boiling water. Add strawberries and chill until it starts to gel; not firm! Blend in Cool Whip, cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. When pretzels are cool, spread with cheese mixture, then Jello mixture. Refrigerate until firm. Cut through pretzels to serve.
